Vincent Bueno

Cosa stai provando in questi momenti?”

“Please welcome Vincent Bueno, who represent Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest. Finally you’re gonna be on stage, with a live performance. What are your feeling right now?”

I am feeling very honour to be here. I think the wait has been long for everybody. I feel that day to day the tension and the excitement is getting really really high! I am trying to relax myself and be creative.

“Let’s talk about your song “Amen”. This year you’ll bring on the stage an intense ballad instead of the funky upbeat of last year’ “Alive”. How do you choose it for the Eurovision? You have an incredible voice, but do you prefer ballad or upbeat songs?”

Well, I love how Italians speak, your hands your voice, I love you guys. I have an Italian friend and he is one of my best friends. His name is David and he is one of the reasons I am at Eurovision! I love both genres. Singing a ballad is being more vulnerable and being more courageous to show what is really inside you. But singing an upbeat song is my normal energy. I just love to present both and I think for this year “Amen” is the perfect song.

“First of all, shout out to Kathrin Zechner: she is giving me this trust for the second time and I hope that I will not disappoint.” said Vincent Bueno, representing Austria at ESC 2021

“In the competition there is also another “Amen”’ song by Ana Soklic from Slovenia. Did you hear her song? Do you fear there is going to be some mistakes with the same song title?”

I know the song, it is an amazing song too. I really appreciate the musicality of that song. I don’t think there is going to be a mistake with the votes. I think it is going to be a boost on both of us to have the same title. At the same time I really appreciate how she sings and she’s a very interesting performer.

“In your country everybody loves you including Katrhin Zechner by ORF who said that all of Europe will fall in love with your empathy. What are your expectations about the competition?”

First of all, shout out to Kathrin Zechner: she is giving me this trust for the second time and I hope that I will not disappoint. Working with ORF is incredible, it is a ten years’ relationship. I was very young when I won the show.

“And now it’s your time to CALL TO VOTES! Say what you want in order to receive votes from all over Europe!”

To all my Italian fans thank you so much for your votes and your support. Continue to follow me on social media, if you want. I have a big heart for Italy I like to be there with my family on holiday every now and then in summer, and I love Pizza e spaghetti, all of you! You know…
